LRS-MCx-WQ-NIR opens new possibilities in power bed fusion

The new LRS-MCx-WX-NIR photohead is an exciting new technology for the field of polymer-based Powder Bed Fusion (PBF). Over 100 Watts of optical power are available using the new DLP650LNIR high power near-Infrared DMD.  With a single shot, create a 2D exposure image into your powder bed layer. Both scrolling and static print implementations are supported, improving build speed drastically over the conventional laser-based systems.

The narrow footprint of the photohead enables stacked multihead configuration with pixel pitch as small as 75 micron. The VISITECH’s LRS-MCx Reference Motion and control software fully support dynamic scrolling with the photohead.
